Description

The classic sound of a 1954 Stratocaster. Hand beveled Alnico III magnets, carefully staggered to the correct measurements and vintage correct 42 AWG wire make these the go to pickups for your need of this sound we all love.

Glassy, bloomy and rich are the attributes that describe this early recipe best. The destinctive mid-range is what we all love about these pickups. They can push an amp but will always retain their clarity.

In addition to their individual characteristics, the pickups on a 1954 Stratocaster are also known for their ability to produce a unique and complex sound when played together in different combinations. This versatility has made the Stratocaster a go-to choice for guitarists in a wide range of genres, from blues and jazz to country and rock.

Scatterwound to vintage specs and wax potted, but only to a degree to set the coil but still leave enough room for clarity and dynamics.

The middle pickup is RWRP to buck hum in positions 2 and 4. However we can, if you want, do it the Leo-way and leave all three pickups the same.

Comes with covers and mounting.

  • Reduced wax potting to reduce Microphonic Feedback whilst retaining clarity and dynamics
All pickups are hand-wound and are subject to certain variations. The manufacturing tolerance is +/- 3%. In addition, there may be tolerances in the DC resistance due to temperature fluctuations. All values refer to 20°C.  
As standard, we ship our pickups with DHL. Within Germany, this is free of shipping costs. For deliveries within and outside the EU, the shipping costs are calculated accordingly in the shopping cart. Customs and other import fees will be charged by your shipping service provider in the destination country. We have no influence on the amount and type of fees. The time for the production of the pickups is added to the delivery time. This usually takes 10-15 days, or longer for special requests. This will be communicated accordingly. As soon as your pickups are on their way, you will receive an email with a tracking number.
