Philosophy

The RockStar combines the proven concepts with the new. The one-piece mahogany body provides the rocking and rich tone, the shape is unobtrusive, timeless and handy.

As standard, the RockStar comes with two custom designed humbucker pickups. Of course, any other combination is possible. The pictures show the RockStar with a Duesenberg D-Tron and a Frantz P90 for the classic sound of the 50s. The electrics consist of high-quality pots from CTS, specially adapted to the needs of guitarists, and a 3-way industrial switch. Nothing wears out quickly here.

The bridge is a modern Tune-o-matic bridge, which has all the advantages of the classic Tune-o-matic, but leaves the disadvantages at the door. Alternatively, a Duesenberg piezo bridge can be installed, which can be switched on via a pull-pot (see pictures). This provides a twangier sound and brings a new colour into play.

The neck is classic, a fat C with medium frets. Made from one piece of mahogany it provides sustain for days. The fingerboard is made of either smoked oak (very dark), Ovangkol or walnut. The neck is protected by many layers of oil and wax. This gives you the perfect playing feel at all times.

High-quality oils are used for the surface finish, which allow the wood to breathe and give you as a player a direct connection with the wood. Alternatively, the body can be refined completely or partially with nitro varnish (see pictures).
